The Fulltime First Shift Receiving Coordinator is responsible for receiving orders into production including unpacking, verifying, and recording incoming merchandise and supplies.

Receiving Coordinator Fulltime First Shift DUTIES
Examine contents of incoming products and compare with records such as manifests, invoices or orders, to verify accuracy of incoming or outgoing shipment.

Receive orders into production system according to the customer's packaging service and label specifications.

Make outbound calls to customers or wholesalers to report discrepancies.

Initiate communication to customers where needed to determine packaging instructions.

Coordinate and separate batch records according to production area.

Maximize productivity by priority receiving in areas low on pending work.

Fax copies of wholesaler invoices to customers as needed.

Create and maintain liquid accountability sheets.

Create over wrap accountability sheets for Robot area.

Answer routine inbound customer calls.

Other duties as assigned


Receiving Coordinator Fulltime First Shift QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION

2+ years experience as a Pharmacy Technician in a hospital environment preferred

Customer focused with the ability to communicate professionally with customer and wholesaler contacts

Possess a good understanding of drug descriptions and NDC number configurations

Strong organization and prioritization skills

Initiative and Accountability: Results oriented, acceptance of responsibility, willingness to follow through on assignments and recognition of need for any appropriate action

Excellent verbal, telephone, PC and interpersonal skills with a very positive, accurate and solution oriented approach to customer communications

Strong record of attendance and reliability

Ability to work independently

Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for periods of time

Ability to read, speak and write English

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision and depth perception.

Ability to hear sounds at normal speaking levels with or without correction, and having the ability to receive detailed information through oral communication, and making fine discriminiations in sound.

Certified Pharmaceutical Technician desired

High School Degree/GED required
